Myriam Ould-Braham is a distinguished ballet dancer, Étoile at the Paris Opera Ballet. She began her ballet training at the Paris Conservatoire in 1992 and continued her studies at the CNSMDP, before entering the prestigious Paris Opera Ballet School in 1994. After completing her training, she joined the Paris Opera Ballet in 1999, where her exceptional talent quickly propelled her through the ranks.
In 2001, she was promoted to Coryphée, followed by a promotion to Sujet in 2002. Her talent and artistry were further recognized in 2005 when she became a Première Danseuse. Finally, in 2014, Myriam was honored with the title of Étoile, the highest distinction at the Paris Opera Ballet.
Throughout her career, Myriam has been celebrated for her contributions to the art of ballet, winning several prestigious awards. In 2002, she was awarded the Prix Carpeaux, followed by the Prix de l’AROP in 2005 and the Leonide Massine Prize the same year. In recognition of her achievements, she was named a Chevalier of Arts and Letters in 2014.
Her repertoire includes many iconic roles at the Paris Opera Ballet, such as Clara in The Nutcracker, Juliette in Romeo and Juliet, Aurore in The Sleeping Beauty, and Nikiya in La Bayadère. She also took her final bow on the stage of the Palais Garnier on May 18, 2024, performing the role of Giselle in a farewell performance.
Additionally, Myriam was recently invited by Manuel Legris to perform at the renowned La Scala in Milan for three performances of L’histoire de Manon. She continues to perform internationally, remaining open to new opportunities abroad.
Myriam has been a vital presence in numerous classical and neo-classical productions, captivating audiences with her grace and technical precision on the most renowned stages in the world.
